Great, just great!
So, I stayed home today to get some rest and hopefully fight off whatever is trying to happen to my body.  At around 9 AM I'm woken up by the sound of chainsaws right outside my window.  Argh!  The town showed up to cut down the neighbor's tree that split in half during the wind storm last week.  So much for sleeping in.  But the story doesn't end there, my friends.  Sometime in the early afternoon I go out to get the mail and discover a hand-written note in our mailbox.  It had to be the worst chicken scratches I've ever seen, but I managed to decipher it.  It was from the foreman of the tree cutting crew.  It seems that in their work, they managed to damage our shed and our fence.   I go running outside for a look.  The back left corner of the shed was broken off and three sections of our fence were  pretty much destroyed.  Good freakin grief, Charlie Brown.  There was a number for us to call on the note, but no one answered it when hubbie called. Big surprise there.  The town is so buying us a new shed and fence.

oh man that sucks bigtime! I hate that crap when it happens. For me, it's the friggin crop duster....and he starts at like 6:30am on my days off. Bless your heart. I hope you get to feeling better. And hey, new shed & fence at no cost will make up for the cutting crew's screwup hopefully.

Get some rest, hun.

Thanks. I just hope getting the money from the town isn't a huge hassle. We're still trying to figure out how they managed to damage the part of the fence that was nowhere near the tree they were cutting down. *shakes head*
