The forces of the universe align themselves against me
This last week at work has proven to be absolutely torturous.  I'm scrambling to get my work as caught up as possible, but we're having some issues with this one bank and I've been working for two days to try and straighten it out.  I'm supposed to be showing the new girl we hired over the summer a good chunk of my work, but I haven't had the time to get to it all.  It's hella frustrating.  I'm at the point where I don't care anymore.  Whatever, if I can't get to it by the end of the day on Friday , it will just have to be figured out by the rest of my department.  I hate to leave them in the lurch like that, but what can I do?  I've got other things to worry about right now.

The baby is figuring out new ways of kicking or pressing on something that causes me some kind of pain.  If he's not using my bladder as a pillow, he's pressing against my spine.  I can't sleep for more than 2 hours at a clip.  I'm so done with being pregnant...just done.  I want him out.  It's not like I'll be getting more sleep, but at least I'll be comfortable.

Awe hun *big hug* Don't stress over it. They'll survive. The big day is near, so soon you'll be comfortable. And the little tyke will sleep a lot if he's anything like mine was.*crosses fingers* He'll wake every few hours to eat, but then go right back to sleep. If it works out that way, you sleep when he sleeps *nods sagely*

Thanks. Today was a little better. We managed to get that bank situation fixed, so that is a huge relief.

And I hope this baby is a sleeper. That will make the adjustment to life with kid so much easier.

Definitely don't stress at this point, that can't be good. Work will survive, so put those worries out of your mind. I hope you can take some quiet time for yourself later to try to destress and relax and send the baby some positive energy. Grab hubby and settle down on the couch or the bed for some family time, just the three of you. ;) It'll help you feel less frazzled tomorrow.

Yeah, whatever doesn't get done, doesn't get done. I'm not going to worry about it anymore. I just need to get all the baby stuff ready. O_O
