Oh horror of horrors...
I found little, bitty stretch marks below my belly button the other day.  *sigh*  I was pretty much resigned to the inevitability of getting them, but...but...DO NOT WANT!!!  I have been using lotions to try and keep the skin moisturized, but according to the experts there is nothing you can do.  Either you're going to get them or you're not.  Bummer........

Yep... they never go away. What were you thinking? Lotion? *laughs*

They're like scars. Ya can't get rid of them. I have so many stretch marks... eheh... guess the newest ones are around my biceps... eheh... kinda...

Live with the mark. It's like a badge of honor.
It's something ta show to your kid when he's older, I guess. Better than nothing, eh?

Well, the lotion was my attempt at preventing them before I got them. I know that once they're there, there's no getting rid of them, but they do fade a bit after time.

Fading? *looks at own stretch marks*
Nope... definately no such thing as fading. They're white... such a contrast to brown-ish skin.

Actually... this journal topic is kinda gross. Mebbee that's why your regulars haven't checked in?

Its a touchy subject, so that might be why I haven't heard anything from anyone else. But these types of stretch marks start off kind of purple-ish, but after time will fade to white. Your marks may have done the same, but you didn't notice them until they were already white. Right now, my marks are little and contained to one small area. I'm hoping that they won't get any worse in these last 2 months.
