My bellybutton is starting to turn inside out
It's getting shallower and shallower by the day it seems.  That's pretty goddamn freaky, if you ask me.  When it finally pops, does it mean the baby's done...you know, like a turkey?  lolz

Our little upstairs renovations for what will be the new computer room is quickly snowballing into a much larger project.  We originally wanted to pull the carpet up and lay down a wood floor.  Simple, right?  Not quite.  We noticed there were a ton of spots all over the room where the floor creaked.  When hubbie pulled up the carpet, he discovered quite a few places where one of the previous owners cut through the floor boards to run some wires.  This is no big deal except that the idiot who did the work didn't cut the planks over a joist, but instead cut it over the hollow in-between.  That means when they replaced the wood, there was no support and that caused the floor to sag and be squeaky in spots.  Hubbie had to pull most of the floor up and replace it with plywood.

Thankfully, this project doesn't involve me that much.  I'll be there to help paint when the time comes.  Its about all I can do with this ever-growing belly of mine.
Current Mood: okayokay

Yay for the ever shrinking belly button hole! By the time I had junior, I was able to easily clean out the gunk that had accumulated over years in the deepest recesses of the hole that you can't normally get out no matter how much you swab it LOL Oh sorry, that was probably TMI :^D

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. ;) Just kidding. Yeah, its definitely much easier to clean now, but will it go back to normal when all is said and done? I hope so.

Yeh, no worries. It'll go back to normal. Well, mine did anyways. Mine never popped out either, it more just flattened, kinda.

OMG, that was hilarious - but EW! Actually I was thinking along the lines of juke, it'll be easier to clean, lol.

Have you been going over names? Did you decide on one yet?

Yes, after much searching and arguing, we finally settled on a name, but I'm not going to reveal it just yet. You'll have to wait a bit more^^

Simple, right? Not quite.

They seem to be the words that go with any house project in my experience *g*!

Yeah, these do-it-yourself projects never go as smoothly as they do on all those home improvement shows. At least my husband is very handy and able to do most of the work himself. And even better still is that I get out of helping^^

the poping bellybutton is quite freaky actually, and I do think it can be compared to the preparing turkey thing... mother nature did provide with some nice and inspiring ways to know how well she works on organizing our world. lol

More like reorganizing our world. Things are going to be vastly different when this baby finally comes. Scary, but exciting stuff.
