"When sorrows come, they come not in single spies, but in battalions"
Came home from work today to find out that my husband was laid off.  This is a blessing in disguise because it will force him to get a new job rather than languishing away in the old one like he was.  But now comes the wait to see how long it will take him to land another one.

Now watch, I'll end up becoming pregnant.  He was laid off once before, 3 months before our wedding.  The major steps in our life seem to be punctuated by him losing his job.

I hate to hear that *hugs and hands a bar of chocolate* I hope it doesn't take him long to find another one. And like you said, it might be a blessing in disguise - where one door closes a window opens, or a wind blows, or the floor boards creak or something like that *grins*

I'll keep my fingers crossed that he finds something even better that he'll enjoy immensely!

I'm sure we'll be fine and he'll find one soon...and closer too. His biggest gripe with the old job was that he had to drive almost 30 miles each way. It was rough. Thanks for keeping your fingers crossed^^
