Happy Halloween!
In keeping with my Japanese theme from last year when I was a samurai, I dressed as a non-descript anime schoolgirl.  I didn't win the costume contest at work, but that's okay.  Everyone loved the costume anyway.  A guy dressed as a pregnant bride won and once again proved that guys in drag win...always.

Tee hee!

I'm going to see Alice in Chains in concert tomorrow night.  I'm so excited, I love their music so much.  Anyone who has read "Hold Your Light" can see that.  I've never seen them before, and when the lead singer died a few years ago, I thought I would never get the chance.  They have a new lead singer now and the reports I'm hearing are that he is very good.  It won't be the same, but it will be close and this is the closest thing I'll get to hearing my favorite songs live.  If they do "Nutshell" I just might have an emotional moment right there in the arena.  I'll give a full report on Thursday.

Anyhoo, I'm off to see Saw 3 with hubbie for some good, old-fashioned Halloween scares.  So, here it is....

Um, for those of you who don't get it, the kitty is the Juggernaut from X-Men....

Hahaha...cool, then I get the Asian vote too. Sweet! The wig rocks. I'm thinking it could be a new look for me.

OMG - purple!!
That's so cute. Damn those m-preg brides! Damn them!

I didn't even realize it was Halloween until a freight sales rep came in wearing golden devil horns. Looked really nice with his suit. Demon chic.

Then I saw a vampire lady driving her van on the way home.

Ooh, I can't stand those graphic slasher movies. The gross beats out the scary. And those Saw movies combine that psychological evil mind-fucking heinousness that just freaks me out way too much. Er... um... so enjoy! ;)

Sounds like the concert will be a blast! Let me know what you think of the new lead.

Re: OMG - purple!!
LOL! Thanks. I was getting all sorts of weird stares driving into work this morning. It was fun^^ Demon chic sounds sexy. Makes me think of the archduke from Innocent Bird. Mmmmm....sexy.

Yeah, Saw 3 was definitely more gruesome than the other two, but I love the mind-fuckery. It makes all the other stuff worthwhile.

There will be a full concert recap afterwards, you can bet on that.

^__^ Thanks! I had a lot of fun, even though I sometimes felt like a deranged Shirley Temple, but then again, I am evil.

Better than my costume... think of me w/ the usual trenchcoat and a pair of mouse ears stuck on my head. It was rather lame... you don't know how much the generic schoolgirl costume beats it... or how much the girl donning a generic cat costume wants to bite you... blah...

Hey! It's the juggernaught, bitch!
Wait... all these pics are of your RL kitties, right?

Wait...what? Someone wants to bite me O_o

No, these are not my cats. They're just funny pics I've found on various websites.

Actually... meant that a girl in a cat costume was trying to bite me.
I spent Halloween at the mall in the hobby shop, playing Magic w/ one of the workers who was off shift. Well, didn't go trick or treating like last year (might've been a tad more embarrassing since I'm a year older) and besides, it snowed in Calgary on Sunday and it's been disgustingly cold ever since.
Anyways, while I was playing, I decided to throw on a pair of mouse ears, seeing as all of the hobby shop employees had their costumes on.
Then this random girl w/ a pair of cat ears came in and pretended to bite me and bat me around w/ her paws. I think she was a friend of the guy I was playing... I think...
Well, I guess I'm a magnet for random beatings by cat people. It's a lovely thing really. I'm all too dizzy afterwards to remember names, if they even said their names. Blah... I don't think the cat girl did...

Eheh... prolly want to see the asian goth mouse, eh? God... I haven't had a digital pic up since that one I showed you of me at a computer... blah... I need friends w/ digital cameras...
(wanders off to rant about friends and their not sharingness of digital cameras)

Pictures are always fun. Damn non-sharing friends with digital cameras.
