Well, there's something you don't see everyday
This was taken across the street from the building I work in.  Not what I was expecting when I came in this morning.

I work in an industrial park, but from the angle of this picture it looks like I'm out in the country. LOL!  Anyway, the construction crew hired to work this site was supposed to meet a certain deadline and when they didn't, non-union workers (aka Rats) were hired to finish the job.  I thought it was for Halloween at first.

The ficathon at   club_sion  has begun.  I can only post my stories there until it's over, so if you're not a member and want to read my 2 entries soon, rather than waiting a week, and love the delicious Viewfinder Series yaoi manga by Yamane Ayano, sign up!  You must be 18+ to join.  I still haven't written the Crimson Spell story yet >.<  I'll get cracking on that one tonight.  I'll probably post the Viewfinder one tomorow.

And in other news..........
I MIGHT BE GOING TO JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My cousin works for American Airlines and can get some ridiculously cheap rate for flying stand-by.  It's looking to happen this January.  I'm so excited.  You have no idea.  This has been a life-long dream of mine.

Ooooh LUCKY!
And not just because you get to peer out at a fiersome giant rat each day!

Going to Japan?! OMG, that is awesome. I hope you manage it! Do you speak any Japanese? Even a couple days in the country would be exciting!

I tried to sign up for scion, but after a week of no response after my joining request, I gave up and took my b-day off my user info again. I'll wait for you to post them. :)

Re: Ooooh LUCKY!
I speak enough anime-Japanese to get me into trouble ;P I can say "please" & "Thank you"...I know what "Chotto matte!" and "Daijabou desu ka?" mean....I think I'll be okay. But yes, this whole trip will be very exciting.

That happened to me with Club Sion too. Leave them another comment and mention that this is your second request because you didn't hear anything the first time. It worked for me.

I'm so jealous, you lucky thing you. I so want to go!! You'll have a great time and super cheap airfare is icing on the cake :^D You'll have to take lots of pics and maybe even pick up some new material for scanlation *waggles brows*

Haha...Lychee already demanded that if I do go, I must pick up some yaoi-which I would do anyway. The best part about it would be that I could actually have it translated. YAY!

And don't worry about pictures. I will make sure the trip is well documented. This will probably be my one chance to go so I will make the best of it.
