My ears are still ringing!
NINE INCH NAILS!!!!!!

OMG!  It was insane.  I managed to work my way to the stage and while security was busy trying to stop a person from crawling over the barricade, I snuck past them and got on stage and dry-humped Trent for a few moments...in my dreams. *sigh*  Anyway, the show was amazing.  We had really good seats this time, just past the orchestra area, just left of dead center.  When we saw them back in November at Madison Square Garden, we were off to the side so all the effects were lost on us, but not this time.  The concert was at Jones Beach Theater, which is an outside stadium.  Stupid me left my jacket home and pretty much froze my ass off.  It wasn't a cold night, but the wind coming off the water (Jones Beach, remember?) was quite chilly.

The set list for this show was completely different from the other show as well.  When I saw them months back, I had just gotten the new album and didn't have too much time to familiarize myself with the songs, but this time I was all prepared.  Of course, Trent has to go and make it an oldies night.  He only did two songs off the new album O_o  He did tons of their older hits like "Down in it" and "SIn"  Off the fucking hook.  The crowd went insane during "March of the Pigs" as usual^^  Once again, he did three of my favorite songs "Terrible Lie" "The Wretched" and "Wish."  But the big surprise of the night was when they did "Dead Souls."  This song was featured on the soundtrack for the movie The Crow.  I must mention that this is a favorite movie of mine.  I have a very deep and special attachement to it.  The soundtrack is amazing and to hear that song live was such a wonderful experience that I will treasure.

The lighting effects were also different this time around.  There was this large, metal lighting rig (it resembled the security gates you see in front of store windows) that would come down at different points in the show.  It would project and flash lights in conjunction with the giant screens at the back of the stage to create this wild 3-D effect.  All this combined with the music...and Trent, made for an unbelievable night.

Now if Trent would only grow his hair back....
