ICON was great, had a blast.  Tons of people were in costume.  There were more than one Fullmetal Alchemist, I even saw someone dressed as Mustang.  There was a girl dressed as Gojyo from Saiyuki, it was a pretty good costume, she even had a shakujou.  Tons of girls in the traditional Japanese school girl uniform.  I saw one Kagome, but no Inuyashas.  There were also the requisite Starfleet uniforms.  I even saw a man dressed as Professor X, complete with mobile hoverchair.  Conventions really do bring out a diverse group of people.

A friend of mine made his own short sci-fi movie that was being shown there.  He's put some much work and time into it and did many of the effects himself.  It really is an amazing piece of work.  It has been gaining popularity in the indie market.  I wish him all the best. If anyone is interested in checking it out go to the website: www.shadowkill.tv   I'm expecting good things to happen for him, and when he becomes famous I can say, I knew him way back when.

I was a little disappointed in the dealers room.  My only purchase was volumes 1 and 2 of the FMA original soundtrack.  No good T-shirts.  Oh, well.  I'm exhausted so I'll keep this entry short and sweet.

Later all!
