Oh cruel irony
Remember in my last post when I said it had better not snow because my husband was away again?  Guess what, not only are we getting another storm tomorrow and Friday,  this one is going to way worse than the other one.  Snow, gale force winds, with rain and sleet.  Fucking-A, man!  And if that wasn't bad enough, my home phone which is through our lovely cable modem, decided to die tonight.  Talked to our cable company and they couldn't troubleshoot it over the phone so they are sending someone out tomorrow.  Yay for cell phones....ARGH!!!!

So does this mean you get to stay home tomorrow? Two good excuses right there - snow and the cable company. I HATE driving in icy/snowy weather. I'd much rather stay inside all day.

We're getting snow here, too, on top of the fourteen inches already on the ground. Seems to be more than the "snow showers" they were predicting.

No, my dad is going to stay at the house while I'm at work. I'm going to try and make it in tomorrow because they're saying that by Friday morning, the roads will probably be really bad since the majority of the snow will fall Thursday afternoon through the night. I really don't want to waste anymore of my sick days, but I hate driving in this weather- SUV or not. Plus, I'll also be shuttling my son to daycare as well. If the weather is really, really bad maybe my company will close down. I'm not holding my breath since that only happened once in the 10 years I've been there, but you never know.

It rained here for the past two days. It got rid of most of the remaining 12 inches we got the last time. Too bad that was short lived...just in time for some more.

Drive very carefully and stock up :( We got powder (5 inches) a week ago, which was extremely rare! *shivers* I'm so ready for winter to be over.

It was freezing rain most of the day, but since about 8, its changed over to snow- heavy, wet snow. The kind that is oh so much fun to shovel. I'm hoping it won't be too bad tomorrow...I really need to go into work.
