And did I mention Metallica?
Not much to say other than it was a total ass-sucking drive into work in the snowstorm this morning.  Thankfully it turned to rain later on, but it still made for slushy roads for the drive home.  Sometimes, I really hate winter.

I have a fun weekend of Metallica, alone time with hubbie in NYC, and a Super Bowl party.  Tomorrow night, we're seeing Metallica at a venue near our house.  The Friday night we're heading into the city to stay at the Millennium Hotel right in Times Square.  We're planning on a nice dinner and some fun.  Then Saturday, we're driving to Jersey to see Metallica again and then back to the hotel until we come home Sunday morning.  This will be the first time in over a year that I can sleep late and not have to worry about getting up with the baby.  The grandparents will be sharing that duty while we enjoy some alone time.  I can't wait, but I know I'm going to miss my little guy.  I'll have a full report when I get back.  ^__^

And how about my new Allelujah icon?  Is that hawtness or what?  I saw that and went day-um.  I'm not gonna lie, there is something oddly sexy about the mismatched eyes.

Yeah, he loved the cake, but I didn't love the clean up. It was gross.

Metallica weekend was awesome. When I have the strength, I'll do a post about it.

And I have much hope for Obama. He's got a lot of work to do.
