scratches head...
I woke up this morning to 11 new reviews to "Light" on Gundam-Wing-Universe.net. I'm thinking to myself that this is great. It's been a while and its always nice to hear from someone who has just discovered the story. Well, my mirth was quickly snuffed out when I read said reviews only to discover that they were all spam. I don't know if any other accounts were hit, but all the reviews were left just on "Light" and consisted of links to other sites- my favorite being the one advertising "hairy pussies." Now, I have never been shy about my love of teh pr0n, but I do not get the whole hairy fetish...*shivers* Anyway, I contacted the webmaster and they took care of the problem. It was still a bummer to have all those reviews taken away. *frowns*

And if that wasn't out of left field enough, I was contacted again by another webpage wanting permission to publish another one of my Japan pictures. This time it was a picture of the bowl of ramen I ate at a stand in Shinagawa station. They were doing an article on the world's smallest bowl of ramen.  Here is the link if you would like to read the article and see my pic. It's under my IRC nick, Vixtress. That makes two of my pictures in some type of publishing. Speaking of which, that travel magazine that wanted my host club billboard pictures should be coming soon. I think it was printing in June. I'll let everyone know when it arrives.

Tomorrow is Japan Day here in Central Park! Hubbie and I are taking the baby into the city to enjoy the festivities. There will be all sorts of good eats, cultural demonstrations, and J-rock/pop performances. It should be lots of fun. If its not, then we'll have a nice day in the park with the baby. I will have a full report and pictures afterwards^^

Awe man, I hate that happened. And an ad for hairy ps? Yuck!

Sounds like tomorrow will be a blast! I wish we had a Japan day like that where I live

Jealous! I wish we had a Japan Day around here. We used to have Asian Moon Fest, with a variety of Asian cultures represented, but not anymore - not since I got into anime and Japanese culture. Just my luck. Looking forward to your pictures!

Japan Day in the Park ? Let me compare with the "days in the gardens" that took place in my chateau this week-end... Humm, ok, Ny wins, it sounds like something I could have fancied... Nah, you just made me jalous ! Nothing to be proud of, really... XD
I hope your little one enjoyed the day !

What happens at the "day in the gardens" at your chateau?

Not much unfortunately, mostly because our director sucks. It's organized nationwide in all the monuments that belong to the state (and not to rich people or to the offspring of old noble families *hates noble families*).
The only cool thing we have is the gardener taking groups of people for a visit and talking about nature, and how the park was drawn and designed and what it means... Places with a better director also have street theater that plays with the tourists, choirs (like, for my chateau a renaissance choir, all dressed up would be just perfect!), food and wine tasting...
My chateau is a renaissance one, but the garden as it is was designed in the mid 19th in your typical Romantic style and pseudo british atmosphere... It's nice though, I like this park ! The chateau is on an island, and the river is flowiing around, they added many small bridges and created water cascade to give a "romantic" feeling of wilderness...
